Biografia Jeffrey Wright
E' stato il giovane artista Jean Michel Basquiat in "Basquiat". Quello stesso anno ha interpretato due film presentati al Sundance Film Festival, "Hamlet", con Ethan Hawke, e "Crime and Punishment in Suburbia", candidato al Gran Premio della giuria. Fra i suoi film ricordiamo poi "Infedeli per sempre", "Due vite in pericolo", "Se mi amate", "Celebrity", di Woody Allen, e "D-Tox, con Sylvester Stallone, presto in uscita.In teatro è stato protagonista di "Angels in America", che gli ha portato un Drama Desk, un Outer Critics Circle e un Tony Award, "Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk", "Re Lear", al New York Shakespeare Festival, con Murray Abraham, all'Arena di "Les Blancs", "Juno and the Paycock" e "She Stoops to Conquer" e allo Yale Rep di "Daylight in Exile", "Playboy of the West Indies" e "Search and Destroy".In tv è apparso in "Homicide", "The Young Indiana Jones", "Separate But Equal" e "New York Undercover".Wright è nato e cresciuto a Washington, D.C. e ha studiato scienze politiche all'Amherst College.
